Talia Goetting has been a licensed attorney in the State of Michigan since 2004. Since 2009, she has focused on Family Law matters and Adoption.

Talia received a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Michigan State University in 1996 and went on to receive an Associate’s Degree from the University of Southern Indiana in 2000. In 2001, she attended Michigan State University – College of Law where she earned a Juris Doctorate Degree in 2004. She also obtained a Certification in Litigation from the Geoffrey Fieger Trial Institute that same year.

Since then, Talia has focused her expertise in all types of complex family law matters in the tri-county area. In 2010, she was the recipient of the Spirit Award for her outstanding pro bono work with the Legal Aid and Defender’s Association.

From 2018 to 2019 Talia was a member of the State of Michigan Adoption committee in which she assisted in reviewing and revising Michigan’s adoption laws and forms. Currently she is a member of the Michigan State Bar Association and the Macomb County Bar Association.
